Detailing the path from joining a start-up before the dot com boom, scaling the business and seeing the original division sold to Oracle. Then founding the UK engineering center for Matrixx Software and it’s astronomical growth. Concluding with how others could replicate this success.

 

About Paul

Paul is the Director of Engineering for Matrixx Software, a software company with its HQ in Silicon Valley. Managing the engineering center which specializes in telecoms core technology and mobile app development in the area of Digital Commerce,

Paul joined G8Labs as the first employee, G8Labs became eServGlobal, and the Intelligent Network and OCS division was sold to Oracle 13 years later, where he was the second longest serving employee. The solutions developed and deployed covered many operators across numerous countries, including tier 1s such as KPN, and pioneering MVNEs.

He currently specialises in the challenges presented by the exponential increase in mobile data and the impact throughout the entire chain of telco systems ( Charging apps, OCS, BSS and OSS).

Paul specialises in, Mobile messaging, VAS applications, Online charging and billing, Mobile Apps, PCRFOracle NCC product (formerly eSG USP Charging) and BSS transformation to next gen systems.
